|Wayne Wilton Lough 1926 ~ 2017
Wayne Wilton Lough was born March 14, 1926 in Jadwin, Missouri to Oscar
W. and Martha Elizabeth (McDonald) Lough and passed away November 2,
2017 at his home in Salem, Missouri at the age of ninety-one years.
On July 21, 1947, Wayne Lough was united in marriage to Lavean Schafer in
Licking, Missouri and to this union five children were born. Wayne honorably
served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, building rocking
horses, loved nature, people, his kids and grandkids, and having fun. Wayne
was a member of Salem Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar and Elizabeth Lough;
brothers, Herman, Leo, Bobby, and Orin Lough; sisters, Corrine Schafer,
Neoma Davis, Rachel Kunkel, and Elma Richardson.
Survivors include his wife, Lavean of the home in Salem; children, Janet
Hasten and husband, Bill, Salem, Pam Moore, Salem, Greg Lough and wife,
Kathy, Salem, Cindy Reading and husband, Tim, Azle, Texas, Brent Lough
and wife, Roxanne, Glenwood Springs, Colorado; fifteen grandchildren;
nineteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and
Wayne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service for Wayne Wilton Lough was held Friday, November 10,
2017 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Rick Pitchford officiating
and eulogy by grandson, Aaron Hasten. Music was congregational singing
led by Kevin Prugh. Serving as pallbearers were Josh Moore, Jacob Moore,
Lance Hasten, Jon Lough, Nic Lough and Jesse Lough. Interment was in the
