Victoria Jean "Vickie" Ruble      1945 ~ 2018
Victoria Jean (Nash) Ruble was born January 28, 1945 to Delola (Stricklin)
and Jesse (Bud) Nash. She was the oldest daughter in a family of seven
siblings. Vickie loved to learn and started Crossville Community School at the
age of only four and graduated Bunker High School in 1961. She pursued
her goal to become a teacher, attending Harris-Stowe Teacher's College and
graduating from University of Missouri at Columbia in 1965. She taught
various classes and grades at Bunker R-3 from 1965 to 1973. There she met
and married the love of her life and partner, Mike Ruble on May 9, 1973. She
and Coach Ruble taught at Northwood R-4 in Salem from 1973 until retiring in
2003. She taught, loved and molded hundreds of students in her lifetime. She
inspired her younger siblings and other family members to also become
educators.

To the union of Mike and Vickie Ruble, two children, Matthew Richard and
Morgan Mikelle were born. They have both become educators, following in
the path of their parents. Vickie loved her family fiercely and unconditionally.
She and Mike were extraordinary parents who took great pride in the
accomplishments of their children. She often proclaimed that her
grandchildren, JP, Deyton and Avery were her greatest blessings and joys.

Vickie passed from this life on February 21, 2018 at the age of 73 years and
24 days. Vickie is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Ruble, parents,

Vickie dedicated her life to Christ in 1959 and became a member of Greeley
United Baptist Church. After marriage, she and Mike became members of
Salem First Baptist Church where they served and worshiped throughout
their marriage. Upon moving to Arnold, Missouri in 2014, she became a
member of the First Baptist Church of Arnold. She was unwavering in her
faith and loved her church families. She lived as a shining example of the
faith she professed.

Vickie was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher
and Christian. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her husband, parents,
