|Susan Kay McGuirk 1959 ~ 2017
Susan Kay McGuirk was born June 25, 1959 in Salem, Missouri to Anthony
and Avella (Langworthy) McGuirk and passed away May 23, 2017 in Rolla,
Missouri at the age of fifty-seven years.
Susan enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts and reading, but most of all she
loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Susan was a member of
First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her father, Anthony "Tony" McGuirk; maternal
grandparents, A.J. and Daisy Langworthy; paternal grandparents, George
and Bridgett McGuirk.
Survivors include her mother, Avella McGuirk, Salem; brother, Larry McGuirk,
Salem; nieces and nephews, Courtney Iuppa and husband, Vinnie, Kansas
City, Megan Shiver and husband, Delbert, Clever, Eli McGuirk, Branson,
Amelia Harrison and husband, Dillon, Hampton, Virginia; great nephews,
Elijah and Kaiden Shiver and Preston Harrison; dear friend, Bonnie Aguirre,
Cabool and many other extended family and friends.
Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service for Susan Kay McGuirk was held Friday, May 26, 2017 at the
First Baptist Church in Salem, with Bro. Phil Newcom officiating, a eulogy was
given by Courtney Iuppa and special music was provided by Phil and Vicki
Newcom. Serving as pallbearers were, Larry McGuirk, Eli McGuirk, Vinnie
Iuppa, Delbert Shiver, Don Adamick, and Grover Bolt, honorary pallbearer
was Michael Bottchen. Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery with all
arrangements under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
