|David Russell Stacy 1931 ~ 2017
David Russell Stacy was born January 18, 1931 in Dent County, Missouri to
Lawson and Ada (Secrest) Stacy and passed away September 28, 2017 in
Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years.
Russell honorably served in the United States Army from September 1948 to
September 1951. Russell Stacy was united in marriage to Berna Dean
Breeding on February 5, 1955 and to this union three children were born.
Russell enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in the wood shop, and loved going
to church. He was a member of Lenox Community Fellowship.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Berna Dean Stacy; grandson,
Nathan Stacy; great grandson, Brady Pierce; sisters, Aileen Keeling and
Bessie Keeling; and brother, Elvie Stacy.
Survivors include his children, Steve Stacy and wife, Vickie, Salem, Arlene
Yost and husband, Chet, Salem, Lynnette Stacy, Salem; nine grandchildren,
eleven great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Russell will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service for David Russell Stacy was held Monday, October 2, 2017 at
Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastors Chet and Marcie Thomas
officiating, special CD selections were played. Serving as pallbearers were,
Chet Yost, Josh Yost, Robbie Yost, Jason Stacy, Heath Buie, Dennis Ball,
Walter Acord, Eric Pierce, Noah Sapp and Michael Wallace. Interment was in
the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
