|Calvin Randall Gabel 1947 ~ 2017
Randall Gabel was born August 26, 1947 in Waynesville, Missouri to Calvin
and Delia (Peck) Gabel and passed away October 30, 2017 in Salem,
Missouri at the age of seventy years.
On June 4, 1966, Randall Gabel was united in marriage to Marsha Ann
Parker and to this union two daughters were born. Randall enjoyed working,
loved cattle, helping the girls, going to Lebanon to the races, and sitting with
his dog, Chase. Randall owned and operated Gabel Construction Company.
He was a member of Hobson Community Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Calvin and Delia Gabel; and sister,
Marlene Marie Gabel.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha, of the home in Salem; daughters, Marla
Dillard and husband, Bill, Springfield, Christy Adamson and husband, Ron,
Salem; grandchildren, Cortney Gabel, St. Louis, Briana Joynt and husband,
James, Salem, Devent Riley, Springfield, Dustin Sercl, Salem, Cheyenne
Sercl, Rolla, Connor Dillard, Springfield; great grandchildren, Adisyn Joynt
and Cruz Joynt; and extended family and friends.
Randall will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service for Randall Gabel was held Friday, November 3, 2017 at
Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Clinton Massey officiating, eulogies
were given by Ron Adamson and Bill Dillard, music was provided by Vanna
Tanner and Valerie Mason. Serving as pallbearers were, Ralph Sanders,
Monty Kitchen, J Clark, Jim Conaway, Stanley Schafer and Todd Parks.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were, Arnold Schafer, Junior Shelton and
Chuck Hollis. Interment was in the Green Forest Cemetery.
