Juanita June Wisdom was born June 8, 1927 in Bunker, Missouri to Ernest
and Hattie (Watson) Black and passed away September 23, 2017 in Salem,
Missouri at the age of 90 years.
June was united in marriage to Cleatus "Bud" Jordan, and later married Gib
Wisdom. She was a hairdresser for many years. June loved God, family,
friends, shopping, high heeled shoes, trout fishing, and oil painting. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Hattie Black; husbands,
"Bud" Jordan and Gib Wisdom; stepfather, Willie Wisdom; sisters, Judith
Bounds and Rosie Patterson.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Shaw and husband, Cleo, Salem;
sisters, Fern Highley, Edith Nash, and Karen Parker; sisters in law, Geneva
Eudy, June Webb, Wanda Major and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Sarah
Parker and husband, Eddie, Joplin, Julie Baron and husband, Jeff, Tucson,
Arizona; great grandchildren, Paige Ebbs and husband, Aaron, Brooke
Parker, Preston Parker, Jake Baron, and Mia Baron; great-great
granddaughter, Addison Ebbs; many special nieces, nephews, friends, and
treasured Shih Tzu, Maggie.
June will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service for June Wisdom was held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at
Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Nancy James, Bro. Dannie Patterson,
Bro. Chuck Henderson and Bro. Michael York officiating. Special music was
provided by Mark Nash and CD selection “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”
was played. Serving as pallbearers were, Roger Highley, Terri Patterson,
Randy Nash, Randy Eudy, Preston Parker and Matt Dillon. Honorary
pallbearers were, Keith Lunn, Scott Nichols, Don Eudy, Danny Eudy, Greg
Smith, Chad Smith and C. J. Smith. Interment was in the Cedar Grove
