Howard Kenneth Miller was born July 13, 1929 in Jadwin, Missouri to Howard
Dewitt and Dora Bell (Gearhart) Miller and passed away February 7, 2018 in
Salem, Missouri at the age of eighty-eight years.
On February 9, 1951, Howard Kenneth Miller was united in marriage to
Esther Ruth Leach. Howard honorably served in the United States Army. He
enjoyed fabricating, fixing things, riding motorcycles, flying his Cessna
airplane, cattle, educating his grandkids, and was always trying to think of a
way to do things better. Howard was a member of Gladden Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Esther Ruth Miller; brothers,
Delbert Miller and James Miller; sisters, Dorothy Schafer and Gladys Miller.
Survivors include his children, Susan Givens, Salem, Laura Miller, Jadwin;
sister, Ava Jadwin, Salem; grandchildren, Joseph Givens, Jacob Givens,
Felicia Beyer, Daniel Schultz; great grandchildren, Bradley Beyer, Kenny
Beyer, Jessica Beyer, Kelsea Givens, Hanna Givens; and seven great great
grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Howard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial service with Full Military Honors for Howard Kenneth Miller was held
Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Donna
Clark officiating. Special CD selections were played. Interment at Jadwin
Cemetery will be at a later date.
