|Frank "Larry" Wiedlocher 1949 ~ 2017
Frank "Larry" Wiedlocher, born June 27, 1949 in Anna, Illinois to Carl and
Dorothy (DeMonde) Wiedlocher, passed away at home June 18, 2017 in
Salem, Missouri at the age of sixty-seven.
Larry graduated from Anna-Jonesboro High School. On December 28, 1968
he was united in marriage to Gloria Green in Carmi, Illinois. He served with
honor in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. Following
discharge, Larry graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Forestry. He was an avid reader and always enjoyed learning,
raising small animals, farm work, and hiking in the great outdoors. He had a
personal relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Larry will be
deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Carl and Dorothy Wiedlocher;
sister, Anne Jenette Wiedlocher; and brother, Christopher Wiedlocher.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Wiedlocher of the home in Salem; children,
Bradley A. Wiedlocher and wife, Sylvia, St. Louis, Zachary B. Wiedlocher and
wife, Laura, St. Louis, Stephanie A. Hough and husband, Peter, Alton, Illinois;
brothers, Carl Wiedlocher III, Las Cruces, New Mexico, George Wiedlocher
and wife, Jeanne, Carbondale, Illinois, David Wiedlocher and wife, Clare,
Lebanon, Tennessee; sisters Sharon Martin and husband, Gale, Midland,
Texas, Penny Ottesen and husband, Bill, Centerville, Tennessee, Regina
Siadek and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Cedric, Elias, Eden, and Asher;
extended family and friends.
Memorial service for Frank “Larry” Wiedlocher was held Saturday, July 01,
2017 at Grace Community Church with arrangements under the direction of
Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
