|Robert Clark "Bob" Gill 1944 ~ 2017
Robert Clark "Bob" Gill was born February 6, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to
Bernard and Lona (Plank) Gill and passed away May 9, 2017 in St. James,
Missouri at the age of seventy-three years.
Bob served in the United States Army from June of 1969 until June 1971.
During his military career he received several medals and a Bronze Service
Star. He enjoyed trout fishing, gardening, ham radio, tinkering, woodworking
and he made wooden puzzles. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church in
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bernard and Lona Gill.
Survivors include his sister, Marilyn Walker and husband, Bobby, Salem;
nephews, Brian Drake, Salem, and Alan Drake, Bonner Springs, Kansas.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service for Robert Clark “Bob” Gill was held Saturday, May 13, 2017
at the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Bro. Phil Newcom officiating.
Special music was provided by Ann Emory, Gary and Verna Cooper. Serving
as pallbearers were Alan Drake, Brian Drake, Bobby Walker, Rick Leonard,
John Hambacker and Bud Griffith. Interment was in the Stone Hill Cemetery
with Full Military Honors.
